Positions Sought: One teacher for each: Kindergarten (1), 2nd Grade (1), 4th Grade (1), 5th Grade (1)

Location: Waupaca Christian Academy, 1500 Roman Rd, Waupaca, WI 

Hours: Full time with minor occasional parent meetings outside of school hours as needed

Type: Salaried with choice of 10 or 12 month pay range (starts 7/15/25 or 9/1/25)

-Agreement with Waupaca Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith  (available at www.waupacaeagles.com)

~Bachelor’s or higher (preferably, but not required, in a related field of education) *If degree is outside of education, must be willing to complete 4 university level credit hours towards an education endorsement over the course of 2 years

~Preferred licensure in any state in related elementary education field or endorsement

~Previous teaching experience preferred but not required

~Willingness to complete continuing education credits to maintain licensure once hired

~Clear background check

Description: Seeking highly qualified full-time staff for employment in the 4K-12th grade Christian school setting preferably with a certification in education, a strong love for all children including ones with special educational and adaptive social needs, experience in classroom management, assessment, lesson planning and execution along with strong communication skills with parents. other classroom teachers, and administration regarding goals and progress. Strong organization skills along with resourcefulness in choosing or creating lessons with discovery, project-based and hands-on learning activities and assessments, developing goal-setting plans, as well as determining the resources needed to meet the needs of one’s students are necessary. Must take initiative to meet with parents outside of school hours if needed as well as to update staff and administration regarding student progress. Must be willing and able to teach Bible, science, social studies, math, English, writing, reading and spelling in a self-contained classroom environment. Must be willing to participate in curriculum mapping and the school improvement process which includes a few summer meetings within the dates of the contract.
